Ronald Patterson

Ronald Louis Patterson, age 70, passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 at his home. Ronald was born on June 27, 1947 to his parents the late Charles Patterson and Florence Patterson. He was the husband of Patricia Sue Hamilton Patterson, a manager at Velocity Market, and a member of the Ford's Branch Church of Christ. He also served his country honorably in the United States Army. Along with his wife, Ronald is survived by one son, Shawn (Melinda) Patterson, one daughter, Melissa Dennis, one step daughter, Sharon (John) Gibson, one brother, Richard Patterson, seven grandchildren, Jondra Gibson, Whitney (Wyatt) Boan, Shelbie (Michael) Segraves, Gabrielle Coxs, Haley, Savannah, and Sophia Patterson, two great grandchildren, Cashius Boan, Carter Boan, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Fred Klatka officiating. Burial will follow in the Newsome Branch Cemetery at Penny Road.
