Florine Little

Florine Little, age 92, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Florine was born on April 7, 1925 to her parents the late Isaiah Coleman and Mary Alice Jones Coleman. She was the wife of the late Junius E. Little, a homemaker and seamstress. She attended Victory Temple Holiness Church and was a member of Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Florine was preceded in death by one son, Roy Steven Little, two brothers, Larry and Virgil Coleman, and three sisters, Jessie, Gladys, and Ival. Florine is survived by one son, Joe(Loretta) Little, five daughters, Margie (William) Dolle, Linda (Frank) Carter, Sandra Little, Nancy (Alex) Bartley, Burma (David) McChesney, nineteen grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 1:30p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Clinard Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery.
