Neva Jean Robinette

Neva Jean Robinette, age 87, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at her residence. Neva was born on April 6, 1930, to her parents the late Willie K. Hughes and Nancy Hughes. She was a retired school teacher with the Pike County Board of Education and a member of the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church, at Brushy. Neva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl J. Robinette. Neva was preceded in death by four brothers, Jim Hughes, William Bill Hughes, Gabe Hughes, Jackie Hughes, five sisters, Ora Mae Reese, Irene Hughes, Ruby Burden, Minta Campbell, Wanda Calhoun. Neva Jean is survived by two sons, Jerry Robinette (Loretta), Terry Robinette (Rita), one daughter, Judi Nichols, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at 6:00 PM at the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church with visitation on Tuesday night, church services on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM at the church. Funeral will Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 11:00 AM at the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinette Family Cemetery.
