Goldie Tucker

Goldie Tucker, age 76, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center. Goldie was born on October 20, 1941 to her parents the late Caleb Damron and Elizabeth Adkins Damron. She was the wife of the late Wilburn Tucker, a homemaker, and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Goldie was preceded in death by one son, Paul Tucker, one daughter, Kathy Tucker Swiney, one grandson, Paul Wilburn Tucker, and ten brothers and sisters. Goldie is survived by one son, Bobby (Becky) Tucker, one daughter, Lizzie Jarrell, two sisters, Mertie Tucker, Nancy Tackett, fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with freewill Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Kinney Branch Cemetery on Caney Hwy.
