Lois Logan

Lois Logan, age 86, passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at her home. Lois was born on July 17, 1931 to her parents the late Alsie Newsome and Hannah Powell Newsome. She was the wife of the late Willard Logan, a homemaker, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Lois was preceded in death by one son, Joseph W. Logan, two grandchildren, Allison Logan, Christopher H. Logan, one sister, and three brothers. Lois is survived by two sons, Phillip (Sheliah) Logan, Robert (Darlene) Logan, four daughters, Debra (Johnny) Sexton, Kathy (Perry) Adkins, Lesia Trent, Jill Logan, one brother, Harold Newsome, one sister, Brenda Newsome, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 4p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Darrell Newsome and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Cemetery at Perry County, Ky.
