Ronald Ramey

Ronald Dean Ramey, age 78, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Ronald was born on Feb. 11, 1940 to his parents the late Edward Ramey and Beulah Rose Ramey. He was the husband of Bonnie Sue Compton Ramey, a retired coal miner for 45 years, and a believer of the Pentecostal Faith. Along with his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Ramey, three sisters, Betty Taylor, Rosemary Chaney, Shirley Colley. Along with his wife, Ronald is survived by one son, Greg (Kathy) Ramey, four daughters, Darlene (Jackie) Ramey Robinson, Debbie (Bret) Ramey Meade, Sandra (Mike) Ramey Vance, Misty (Todd) Ramey Conley, two brothers, Eddie Ramey, Ricky Ramey, three sisters, Gloria Pinner, Kathy Rodriquez, Linda Douglas twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Billy Compton officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
