Venita Rowe Johnson

Venita Rowe Johnson, age 80, of Lookout, Ky passed away on April 4, 2008, at the Mountain View Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Adam and Gracie Hill Rowe. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Tildon Johnson, by one sister, Flo Ruth Bryant, two brothers, Truby and Gene Rowe, and one nephew, Adam Carson Stone. Venita was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. She is survived by two brothers, Theodore (Lucille) Rowe of Lookout, KY, and Wendell (Norma) Rowe of Streamwood, IL, and two sisters, Priscilla (Hillard) Bryant of Lookout, KY, and Justine (Harold) Stone of Ivel, KY. A host of loving nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2008, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery. Special services will be held on Sunday and Monday nights at 7 p.m.
