Goma Webb

Goma Webb, age 81, of Phyllis, Ky, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Troy and Lucy Abshire Ward. She as also preceded in death be her husband Ervel "Eub" Webb, two sisters, Orpha Taylor and Opal Good, and one brother, John Ward. Goma was a retired factory worker for Nutone in Cincinnati, OH. She was also a member of the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ. She is survived by two brothers, Clifford Ward of Lexington, KY. and Troy Zeldon Ward of Scottsdale, AZ, by three sisters, Roma (Charles) Scott of Phyllis, KY, Imal Ramey of Kimper, KY, and Vivian Johnson of Flat Rock, MI. A host of loving nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April, 9, 2008, after 6 p.m. at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 noon at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ with Jerry Adkins, Jim Abshire, Sammy Slone, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Family Cemetery. Special services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday night at 7 p.m.
