Shirley Jean Parker Davidson

Shirley Jean Parker Davidson, age 59, of Centertown, KY, formerly of Marrowbone, KY, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2008, at her residence. She was born on October 2, 1948, the daughter of the late Casey and Betty Thompson Parker. Shirley had worked as a registered nurse at the Ohio County Hospital. She was also a member of the Lone Star General Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Bernie W. Davidson, by three daughters, Angela Hackney and Paula Little both of Centertown, KY, and Misty Tackett of Robinson Creek, KY, by one sister, Louetta Bickford of Salyersville, KY, and by six grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Chris Bartley and Richard Gibson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery Mausoleum. Special services will be held on Thursday and Friday nights at 7 p.m.
