Merlin Howard Hausauer, age 60, of Pikeville, KY, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2008, at the Parkview Nursing Center. He was born on May 24, 1947, the son of the late Alford and Hilda Perkins Hausauer. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Bernice Beckett. Merlin was a retired Dry Wall Contractor and had worked for ATM Solutions. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife, Berita Castle, by one son, Kenneth Hausauer, by one daughter, Marsha Kendrick, by one sister, Lavonne Fedoronczuk of Sacramento, CA., and by three grandchildren. A host of loving nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, after 6 p.m., at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, at 1 p.m., at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dale Brooks, and Frank Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park. Military Rites will be conducted by the Johns Creek DAV Chapter #166. Special services will be held on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
