Jimmy Brewer

Jimmy Brewer, 68, of Robinson Creek, KY, passed away Friday July 10, 2009 at his residence. He was born July 29, 1940 to the late James Press Brewer and Holla Z. Thacker Brewer. Jimmy was a retired miner of Potter Mining,a member of the Energyville Freewill Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Brewer and one brother, Larry Brewer. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Alpha Brewer of Robinson Creek, KY, two sons, Billy S. Brewer of Pikeville, KY and Dustin S. Brewer of Robinson Creek, KY, and a daughter Jimmetha R. Reynolds of Robinson Creek, KY. He also leaves behind five sisters, Ruth Casebolt of South Carolina, Laura Milton of South Carolina, Geraldine Norman of Lexington, KY, Sheila Brath of Ohio, Vonnie Little of Michigan and three grandchildren. Visitation will be after 6 PM, Sunday July 12, 2009 at the Energyville Freewill Baptist Church with special services Sunday and Monday night at 7 PM. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 AM at the Energyville Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Mullins Cemetery at Caney, KY.
