Fairy Slone

Fairy Slone, 82, of Lower Jonican Rd, Raccoon, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at her residence. She was born March 18, 1927 at Fish Trap, Kentucky. Fairy was the daughter of the late John and Nancy Thacker Slone. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Fairy was baptized at the Pikeville Medical Center in Febuary, 2008. Fairy is survived by two sisters, Josephine Mullins of FedsCreek, KY, Sophie Mae Pinion of Raccoon, KY, and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Visitaion will be at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home Thursday, June 26, at 6PM. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 AM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with A.B. Thacker and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana. Special services will be held Friday at 7 PM
