Gale Sue Ramsey

Gale Sue Ramsey, age 69, passed away Saturday, October 25th, 2008 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born on July 27th, 1939 to her parents the late Butler Thacker and Emogene Coleman Thacker. She was the wife of Ronnie Ramsey and a homemaker. Along with her parents, Gale was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Whitt. Along with her husband, Gale is survived by one daughter, Debbie (Michael) Tackett of Virgie, Ky., three sons, Mike Ramsey of Robinson Creek, Ky., Greg (Tammy) Ramsey of Collins Hwy., Todd (Amanda) Ramsey of Harold, Ky., two brothers, Darrell Thacker of Marrowbone, Ky., Jackie Thacker of Caney Hwy., two sisters, Patty Thacker of Red Creek, Mary Bartley of Caney Hwy., six grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday 10-28-2008 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Harold Brewer officiating. The burial will follow in the Damron Cemetery at Penny Road of Virgie.
