Douglas Ward

Douglas Ward, age 57, passed away Thursday, April 17th, 2008 at the Baptist Northeast Hospital. Douglas was born on May 14th, 1950 to his parents Ellen York Ward and the late John Ward. Douglas was the husband of Jeanette Robinette Ward. Along with his father, Douglas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Virgie York. Along with his wife, Douglas is survived by one step-daughter, Melissa Hopkins of Frenchburg, Ky., two step sons Kalton Adkison of West Liberty, Ky., Ronnie Adkison of Virgie, Ky., two brothers, Frank Ward, Paul David Ward of West Liberty, Ky., five sisters, Linda Ward of Tazewell, Tn., Kathy Swanner of Woodbine, Ky., Judy Sanders of Arjay, Ky., Rose Ridgetey of Harragat, Tn., Jacqueline Sizemore of Gray, Ky., six grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends who will miss him dearly.
