Stella Rowe

Stella Jane Hampton Rowe 76, of Phyllis, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2008 at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. View Church of Christ. Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Malon and Mary Alice Elswick Hampton, one sister and three brothers. She is survived by her husband John Harold Rowe of Phyllis, KY, three sons, Jim L. Rowe of Pikeville, KY, Harold D. Rowe of Phyllis,KY, and Larry K. Rowe of Pikeville, KY, four brothers: Edgar Hampton, Lonnie Hampton, Russell Hampton and Elmer Hampton all residing in Virgie, KY. Two sisters: Hettie Kenney of Maysville, KY and Lettie Pugh of Phyllis, KY. Seven Grandchildren and Eight Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 6:00 P.M. at the Mt. View Church of Christ located at Mouthcard, KY. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 PM. at the Mt. View Church of Christ with Frank Crum officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at East Shelbiana. Special services will be held nightly at 7:00 P.M.
