Shawnda Walters Smith

Shawnda Walters Smith, age 34, of Louisa, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2009. She was born on August 25, 1975, the daughter of Gene and Charlotte Walters. Shawnda was a homemaker and was of the Freewill Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her husband, Elva Gene Smith, by a daughter, Emilee Morgan Scott, and by a son, Kalen Evan Gene Smith, and by a sister Jeana Ledford of Johnson City, TN. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2009, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Richard Staton officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery at Hatfield, KY.
