Katherine Brewer Morris

Katherine Brewer Morris, age 84, passed away Saturday, Oct. 25th, 2008 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Katherine was born on October 10th, 1924 to her parents the late Lawrence Brewer and Louise Compton Brewer. She was the wife of the late Amberis Morris, a homemaker, and a member of the Pikeville Freewill Baptist church. Along with her husband and parents, Katherine was preceded in death by five brothers, Richard, Frank, Lawrence, Uyliss, and Stallard Brewer. Katherine is survived by two brothers, Harold Brewer of Indiana, Edward Brewer of Hurricane Creek, two sisters, Myrtle Rich Gibson of Pikeville, Mildred Roberts of Pikeville, a special niece, Pamela King of Pikeville, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday 10-29-2008 at 11A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jim Patton officiating. The burial will follow in the Pine Ridge Cemetery at Harold, Ky. Special services will be held on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
