Darrell Dean Preston

Darrell Dean Preston, the son of the late Forrest King Preston and Margaret D. Damron passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009. He had a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky in Engineering and Mathmatics. He taught High School Mathmatics at Virgie High School in Virgie, KY, and he also drove the school bus for many years. In his later years, he became a custom builder and contractor of his own company and worked in Colorado both. He moved from Kentucky to Colorado in 1982 and resided in Denver for several years. After a serious illness, he has resided for the past 16 years with his daughter and her family. Mr. Preston is survived by his son, Gordon Dean Preston of Nashville, TN and his daughter, Lesa Ann Ceverian- Saucedo, one son in law, Catalino Ceverian- Saucedo; his 6 grandchildren, Dara, Francisca, Christina, Jodie, Jesse, and Shannon; 5 great grandchildren; and one sister Madge (Dewey) Greer. Memorial Service will be 1 P.M. Saturday, September, 26, 2009 at the Lucas and Son Funeral home.
