Lealy Hudson Ratliff

Lealy Hudson Ratliff, age 81, of Robinson Creek, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2009, at her residence. She was born on March 31, 1928, the daughter of the late Roy and Arkansas Burke Hudson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Ratliff, by one son, Michael Ratliff and by two sisters. Lealy was a homemaker and a member of the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Jerry Wayne Ratliff of Mt. Clemens, MI, one daughter, Joyce Hobson and husband Sollie of Robinson Creek, by on brother, Solomon Hudson and wife Lena of Fayetteville, WV, by three sisters, Lois Tackett of Robinson Creek, Brenda Burke and husband Jerry of Lincoln Park, MI, and Lora Johnson and husband Charles of Thompsonville, IL, by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2009, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Thomas DeHart officiating. Burial will follow in the Amos Newsom Cemetery. Special services will be held on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7 p.m.
