Ethel (Pet) Williams

Ethel (Pet) Stump Williams, age 86 passed away Wednesday, 1-28-2009 at her home. Ethel was born on February 9th, 1922 to her parents the late Tom Sawyers and Rosie Fields Sawyers. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Williams, a homemaker, and a member of the Lick Creek Church of God. Ethel was also preceded in death by her first husband, Charlie Stump, two sons, Donnie and James Edward Stump, and three brothers and two sisters. Ethel is survived by two daughters, Daisy Claypool of Columbus, Ohio, Sue Spears of Ohio, nine sons, Eldeen, Jake, David, Landon, and Norman Stump all of Lick Creek, Frank Stump of Columbus, Ohio, Bill Stump of Pa., Terry Stump of Millard, Ky., Richard Stump of Mouthcard, Ky., one brother, Benny Sawyers of Lick Creek, fifty four grandchildren, 102 great-grandchildren, 33 great-great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lick Creek Church of God In Jesus Name. The funeral will be Saturday 1-31-2009 at 1p.m. at the Lick Creek Church of God In Jesus Name with Ray Sayers and Greg King officiating. The burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Lick Creek.
