Hellen Hunt

Hellen Deloris Hunt, age 62, passed away Friday, Dec. 19th, 2008 at her home in Cana, Va. Hellen was born on Dec. 4th, 1946 to her parents Mary Magdalene Justice Varney and the late Vint Thomas Varney. She was the wife of Kenneth Harold Hunt, a retired employee for the Retail's Clerk Union in Indiana, and a member of the Faith Baptist Church in North Carolina. Along with her husband and mother, Hellen is surivived by one daughter, Kimberly Colette Hunt and her husband Jimmy Dean Hunt both of Cana, Va., one brother, James Thomas Varney of Winchester, Ky., three grandchildren, Kenneth Dean Hunt, Cheyenne Colette Hunt, Brayden McKinley Hunt all of Cana, Va., and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday 12-23-2008 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Edwards officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
