Mazie Darlene Hunt

Mazie Darlene Hunt, age 57, of Phyllis, KY passed away on Friday September 25, 2009, at her residence. She was born on February 29, 1952, the daughter of the late Clayton and Gracie Fields. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Kay Thacker, by two brothers, Andy Jr. New and Connor Fields, and by a sister, Loretta New. Mazie was a homemaker and a member of the Edo Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Roger Lee Hunt, by two sons, Ricky Lee Hunt of Kimper, KY and Randy Boyd Hunt of Russell Springs, KY, by three brothers, Bruce Fields, Jimmy Fields, and Bernie Fields, by three sisters, Eula Mae Hatfield, Lois Fields, and Shirley Anderson, and by four grandchildren, Rodderick Shayne Hunt, Christopher Lee Hunt, Kameron Ayden Hunt, and Matthew Hunt. Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at the Edo Freewill Baptist Church at Kimper. Funeral services will be held on Monday at the Edo Freewill Baptist Church with Bob Bowman, Freddie Lewis, Eddie Abbott, and Dean Hess officiating. Burial will follow in the Dotson Cemetery at Long Fork, Kimper. Special services will be held on Saturday and Sunday nights at 7 p.m.
