Henry Lee Canaday

Henry Lee Thomas Canaday, age 75, passed away Saturday, 2-14-2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Henry was born on August 21st, 1933 to his parents the late John Will Steven Canaday and Mollie Bell Spencer Canaday. He was the husband of Esther Fehrman Canaday, a retired master electrician, and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Church. He also served our country honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Along with his parents, Henry was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Along with his wife, Henry is survived by two sons, Thomas Henry Canaday of Welcome, NC., Timothy Lee Canaday of Winchester, Va., one daughter, Tamara Gay Canaday of Jenkins, Ky., one brother, George Navy Canaday of Martinsville, Va., two sisters, Vera Mae Watkins of Stoneville, NC., Ava Jean White of Salem, Va., three grandchildren, Joel Matthew Canaday, Alyssa and Kyli Canaday, and a host of loving family and friends. Memorial Service will be Saturday, Feb. 21st, 2009 at 4p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at Jenkins, Ky.
