Elaine Milam

Elaine Milam age 83, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at her home. Elaine was born on February 19th, 1925 to her parents the late Albert Branham and Margaret Hamlin. She was the wife of the late Eugene Milam, a homemaker, and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Elaine was preceded in death by one son, Reginald D. Milam. Elaine is survived by one son, Pat Milam of Virgie, three daughters, Margaret Hall of Virgie, Ky., Judy Johnson of Mascot, Tn., Gayle Newsome of Virgie, Ky., one sister, Cill Newsome of Virgie, Ky., thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday October 31, 2008 at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son funeral Home with Morgan and Doug Johnson officiating. The burial will follow in the Milam Cemetery at Virgie.
