Loretta Sue Elswick

Loretta Sue Elswick, age 63, of Pikeville, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2008. She was born on December 22, 1944, the daughter of Charles Slone and the late Opal Goodman Slone. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Tina Boley, and by two brothers, Richard Goodman and Charles Slone, Jr. Sue was the assistant manager at Bob Evans Restaurant in Pikeville. In addition to her father, she is also survived by her husband, Brent Elswick, by one daughter, Kaye Woods of Hazard, KY, by one son, Todd Elswick of Pikeville, KY, by one sister, Athea Blackburn of Pikeville, KY, and by six grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
