Violet Damron

Violet Damron, 46, of Pikeville, KY passed away Wednesday August 19th, 2009 at Pikeville Medical Center. She was born September 11, 1962 in Ohio to the late William Reed and Ruth Adams Reed. She was a homemaker and member of the Island Creek Church of God. Surviving Violet is her husband, Anthony "Tony" Damron, her mother, Ruth Ann Reed, and two brothers, Ricky Reed of Pikeville, KY and Leo Reed of Pikeville, KY. She also leaves behind three sisters, Shirley Chaney of Pikeville, KY, Peggy Slone of Pikeville, KY and Carol Branham of Pikeville, KY. Visitation will begin after 6:00 PM Friday August 21, 2009 at Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Special services will be Friday and Saturday at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Sunday, and burial will follow at King Damron Family Cemetery in Hurricane Creek, KY.
