Flora Coleman

Flora Coleman 75, of Hurricane Creek Road, Pikeville, KY, passed away Saturday May, 24, 2008 at the Good Shepard Nursing Home at Phelps, KY. She was born in Pikeville, KY November 13, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Dennis Adams and Essie Compton Blackburn Justice. She was also preceded in death by her mates Albert Justice and Millis Coleman, three brothers, Darryl Blackburn, Glen Adams, and Howard Adams, two sisters, Hester Akers and Opal Kious. Flora is survived by two sons, Dennis and Troy Justice of Pikeville, KY, one daughter, Linda Dewitt of Pikeville, KY, four brothers Jim Adam of Knoxville, TN, Sam Blackburn of Woodhaven, MI, Lester Blacburn of Pikeville, KY, Jeff Blacburn of Pikeville, KY, five sisters, Mildred Newsome of Albion, MI, Lucille Tackett of Albion, MI, Essie Wilburn of Pikeville, KY, Rita Smith of Martin, KY, Avonelle Bethards, of Florida, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Visitaion will be at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home at 6 p.m. Sunday May 25. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. The burial will follow in the Stevens Cemetery at Hurricane Creek Pikeville, KY.
