Neal G. Thacker

Neal G. Thacker age 58 passed away Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Neal was born on June 17th, 1950 to his parents the late Jerry Thacker and Mae Thacker. He was the husband of Irene Sawyers Thacker, a parts foreman for Whayne Supply for over 32 years, and a member of Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Neal was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Thacker, and one sister, Rosemary Goff. Along with his wife, Neal is survived by one daughter, Norma Lynn Frasier of Winchester, Ky., one son, Jerry Neal Thacker of Richmond, Ky., one brother, Blake Thacker of Columbus, Ohio, two sisters, Gayle Bentley of Shelbiana, Ky., Joy Despasqualie of Shelbiana, Ky., three grandchildren, two special granddaughters, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday 6-6-2009 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Edgar Sanders and Ray Sayers officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
