Bertha "Helena" Robinson Clifton, age 60, formerly of Greasy Creek, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008, at the West Florida Hospital. She was born on March 27, 1948, the daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Riley Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Andy Robinson. She is survived by her husband, Jim Clifton, three daughters, Anita Varney (Chuck) of Pikeville, KY, Penny du Toit (Rudo) of Lexington, KY, and Alice Thacker (Shannon) of Shelbiana, KY., by five brothers, Abraham Robinson (Ruby) of Shelbiana, KY, John Robinson (Rebel) of Indiana, Bill Robinson (Linda) of Pikeville, KY, Donald Borden Robinson (Mary Lou) of Indiana, and Berlin Robinson (Carol) of Indiana, by four sisters, Ruthie Duncan of Pensacola, FL, Mable Coleman (Randy) of Shelbiana, KY, Sarah Mitchell of Grand Rivers, KY, and Nancy Joyce Robinson (Michael) of Dorton, KY, by eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, after 6 p.m., at the home of Abraham Robinson of Greasy Creek. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the home of Abraham Robinson with Teddy Honaker, Curt Carroll & others officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson Family Cemetery. Special services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7 p.m.
