Betty Chaney

Betty Sue Chaney, age 62, passed away Tuesday, May 27th, 2008 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Betty was born on Dec. 15th, 1945 to her parents the late Charlie Chaney Sr. and Bessie Slone Chaney. She was a homemaker and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with her parents, Betty was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara chaney, and five brothers, Charlie Jr., James Matt, George, Frank, and William Chaney. Betty is survived by one daughter, Billie Chaney Ratliff of Pikeville, Ky., one brother, John Chaney of London, Ky., three sisters, Virginia Chaney of Fed's Creek, Ky., Polly Pinion of Fed's Creek, Ky., Bessie Pinion of Kimper, Ky., one granddaughter, Abigail Grace Ratliff, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday at 1p.m., May 31st, At the Lucas and Son Funeral Home.
