John Thomas Blair

John Thomas Blair, age 70 of Daniels Creek, Regina, KY passed away Friday September 17th, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. John was born June 7th, 1940 to the late Fred and Oma Coleman Blair in Pike County, KY. He was a coal miner working for Chaperal Coal Company. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Neal and Andy Blair. John leaves behind his wife, Mary Anderson Blair, three sons, Wesley Blair of Elkhorn City, Johnny Wade Blair and Jarred Blair, both of Regina, and one daughter, Kim Renee Mullins of Graten, VA. He is survived by six brothers, Charlie Blair of Regina, Ronnie Blair of Shelbiana, Larry Blair of Regina, Freddie Blair of Regina, Danny Adkins of Regina, and Gregory Adkins of Regina, one sister, Joyce Ann Blackburn of Regina, and two step-brothers, Starky Adkins of Regina and Troy Adkins of Columbus, OH. John leaves behind twelve grandchildren, two great gandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be at Lucas and Son Funeral Home after 6 P.M. Sunday. There will be special services at 7 P.M. with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Funeral services will be Monday at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at the Blair Family Cemetery on Harless Creek.
