Lydia Mae Mullins

Lydia Mae Mullins age 71, passed away Saturday, August 7th, 2010 at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, N.C. Lydia was born on August 5th, 1939 to her parents the late George Elliott and Grace Saunders. She was the wife of the late Franklin Mullins Sr., a homemaker, and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy at Burdine. Along with her husband and parents, Lydia was preceded in death by one grandson, Bradley Wayne Mullins, one brother, George Elliott Jr., and one sister, Margaret Smith. Lydia is survived by one son, Franklin Mullins Jr. of Jenkins, Ky., two daughters, Joyce Harris of Baltimore, Maryland, Pamela Collins of Lenoir, N.C., six grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, August 11th, 2010 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Keith Creech and Jeff Slone officiating. The burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery at Jenkins, Ky.
