Margaret Janney Lowe

Margaret Janney Lowe, 70 years old of Sidney, KY, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 in South Carolina. She was born in Pike County October 24, 1939 to the late Hersel and Kelsey Janney. Margaret was a Registered Nurse retired from Pikeville Methodist Hospital. She was of the baptist faith. Margaret was preceded in death by one brother, Doug Janney, and one sister, Brenda Justice. She is survived by two daughters, Pat (David) May of Sidney, KY and Nell (Bull) Conway-Belcher of Shelbiana, KY and by two sons, Dean (Mona) Adkins of South Carolina and Darryl (Martha) Adkins of Shelbiana, KY. She also leaves behind two brothers, Buddy (Lita) Janney of South Carolina and Roger (Barb) Janney of South Carolina and two sisters, Audrey Wright of Georgia and Judy Janney of Ohio along with ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home after 6 PM Tuesday August 3rd. There will be special services Tuesday and Wednesday at 7 PM. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Thursday, August 5th at 12 Noon with David Coleman Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Bevins Cemetery on Lower Pompey.
