Nancy Lee Fields

Nancy Lee Fields, 88 years old of Collins Highway, passed away Thursday August 26th at the Mountain View Nursing Home in Elkhorn City, KY. Nancy was born in Pikeville, KY January 30th, 1922 to the late William and Annie Hopson. She was a cook at the Pikeville Methodist Hospital and of the regular baptist faith. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dock Fields, two sons, Johnny and Robert G. Fields, three sisters, Terra, Tennie, and Mentie, and also four brothers, Lonnie, Edward, Eugene, and Richard. She is survived by two sons, William L. Fields of Virgie, KY and James E. Fields of Wausen, OH. She also leaves behind two brothers, James Hopson and Davis Hobson and one sister, Lorainne Osborne, along with seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She will also be sadly missed by a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home on Friday August 27th after 6:30 PM. There will be special services Friday and Saturday night at 7 PM with Teddy Honaker and others officiating. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1 PM. Burial will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery on Buckfield Rd.
