Gladys Ruth Stiltner

Gladys Ruth Stiltner age 73, passed away Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. Gladys was born on Nov. 10th, 1936 to her parents the late Lit Adkins and Gladys Dempsey Adkins. She was the wife of the late Donald Stiltner, a homemaker and mother, and a member of the State Line Free Pentecostal Church of God. Along with her husband and parents, Gladys was preceded in death by three sons, Thomas, Harry, and Douglas Stiltner, and two daughters, Denise Stiltner and Louise Stiltner. Gladys is survived by three sons, Danny Stiltner of Sciotoville, Ohio, Jerry Stiltner of MacArthur, Ohio, Gary Stiltner of five daughters, Lucille Lester of Grundy, Va., Kathy Ratliff of West Liberty, Ky., Betty Newsome of Robinson Creek, Ky., Beverly King of Sciotoville, Ohio, Leighanna King of Wheelersburg, Ohio, two sisters, Geneva Adkins, Joann Bentley of Pikeville, Ky., twenty-three grandchildren, Twenty-Two Great-Grandchildren, One Great-Great Grandchild, special granddaughter, Sirena Slone, one adopted 95 year old daughter, Rosetta Hudson, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday August 5th, 2010 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Mt. Valley Memorial Park at Big Rock, Va.
