Ruby Damron

Ruby Damron age 79, passed away Tuesday, April 6th, 2010 at the Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center. Ruby was born on July 22nd, 1930 to her parents the late Reid Roberts and Myrtle Roberts. She was the wife of the late Carvin Damron, a homemaker, and a member of the Caney Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Ruby was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers. Ruby is survived by one daughter, Shirley (John) Southway of Michigan, four sons, Robert Damron of Prestonsburg, Chuck (Marian) Damron of Pikeville, Randy (J.J.) Damron of Cincinnati, Ohio, Roger Damron of Houston, Texas, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday 4-10-2010 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with John Vance and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
