Pauline Anderson Coleman

Pauline Anderson Coleman, age 86, of Marrowbone, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on February 23, 1924, the daughter of the late Lon and Caroline Epling Anderson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bob Coleman, and by two brothers, Edd and John Anderson. Before her retirement, Pauline worked for the Pike County Board of Education where she worked as the secretary at Millard High School. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and was a member of the Community Alliance Church. She is survived by three daughters, Monica Puckett and husband Leslie of Newport, TN, Sherrie Sparks and husband Jimmie of Regina, KY and Pamela Prater and husband Billy of Pikeville, KY, by one brother, Lon Anderson, Jr. and by a sister, Eloise Coleman, by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jerry Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the William Coleman Cemetery at Wolfpit, KY. Special services will be held on Saturday and Sunday nights at 7 p.m.
