Clarence Coleman

Clarence Coleman age 70, passed away Thursday, August 19th, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Clarence was born on May 24th, 1940 to his parents the late Tom Coleman and Sadie Coleman. He was the husband of Viola Bowling Coleman, a foreman for Asplundh Co., and a member of the Energyville Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by one sister, Josephine McClure. Along with his wife, Clarence is survived by two daughters, Tammy Goff of Lower Pompey, Lynn Neice of Whitesburg, Ky., one son, John Potter of Indiana, one brother, Lowell Coleman of Bowling Fork, two sisters, Irene Thacker of Tn., Ilene Fleming of Grundy, Va., five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Special services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday August 22nd at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with David Bentley officiating. The burial will follow in the Parsons Cemetery at Rocky Road.
