Jacqueline Keene

Jacqueline Keene age 72 passed away Thursday, Nov. 18th, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Jacqueline was born on July 21st, 1938 to her parents the late Will Adkins and Betty Ramsey Adkins. She was the wife of the late Joe Keene, a homemaker, and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by one son, Joe Keene Jr., one brother, Jerry Wayne Adkins, and one sister, Roxy May Keene. Jacqueline is survived by five sons, Terry Keene, Bo Keene, William Keene all of Shelbiana, Ky., Paul Keene of Whitesburg, Jim Keene of Powell's Creek, three daughters, Deborah Keene, Patty Keene, and Sherry Keene all of Shelbiana, Ky., one brother, Lawrence Adkins of Clay City, Ky., three sisters, Christine Hopkins of Elkhorn City, Ky., Jerri Cole of Robinson Creek, Ky., Pat Riley of Powell Creek, ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Greasy Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Special services will be Friday and Saturday night at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday Nov. 21st, 2010 at 11a.m. at the Greasy Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Keene Family Cemetery at Shelbiana.
