Monte C. Iversen

Monte C. Iversen age 65 passed away Thursday, September 9th, 2010 at his home. Monte was born on January 3rd, 1945 to his parents the late Carl Iversen and Anna Ruschmann Iversen. He was the husband of Shirley Thornsbury Iversen, an employee for Whayne Supply Company, and a Minister of the Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Monte was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Iversen. Along with his wife, Monte is survived by one son, Brian (Sherry) Iversen of Ford's Branch, two daughters, Monica (Terry) Kinney of Collins Hwy., Cindi (Jay) Akers of Virgie, Ky., one sister, Carla (Lester) Pemble of Walnut Grove, MN., two brothers, Charles (Doris) Iversen of Detroit Lakes, MN, Lanny (Nancy) Iversen of Tracy, Mn, six grandchildren, Rachel, Brock, Jared, Hunter, Cassidy, and Dillon, two step grandchildren, Three step great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Little Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Special services will be Friday and Saturday 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday Sept. 12th, 2010 at 1p.m. at the Little Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Bentley Cemetery at Little Creek.
