Billy Ray (WeeGee) Hylton age 65 passed away Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Billy was born on June 30th, 1944 to his parents the late Arvil Hylton and Pauline Kluka. Billy was the husband of Alfonda (Bonnie) Bartley Hylton, a retired UMWA coal miner for Bethlehem Coal Company, and a member of Unity Freewill Baptist Church. He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. Along with his parents, Billy was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Douglas Hylton and Freddie Hylton, two step brothers, Terry Ratliff and Wendell Ratliff, and one step sister, Helen Forbush. Along with his wife, Billy is survived by his step mother, Ruth Hylton, three daughters, Tammy May, Dianan "Dee" Smith (Michael), Billie (Kevin) Coleman, one brother, Michael (Betty) Hylton, two sisters, Judy (Jimmy) Boyd, Sue (Gary) Craig, two step brothers, Buck Ratliff, Dewey Ratliff, two step sisters, Brenda "Sis" Rose, Jeanette Justice, three grandchildren, Billy Daniel May, Autumn Paige Smith, Haley Brooke Coleman, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday at 12noon at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Unity Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
