Sylvia Faye Daniels

Sylvia Faye Daniels, age 72 of Kingston, TN, formerly of Pike County, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Roane Medical in Harriman, TN. Sylvia was an antique dealer born February 10, 1938 to the late Charles Raines and Effie Goff Raines. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Dean Daniels, one son, Michael Ratliff, one daughter, Pamela Wright and a brother Paul Raines. Sylvia leaves behind three sons, James Ratliff of Kingston, TN, Ronald Wayne Ratliff of Draffin, KY, and Jeffrey Douglas Ratliff of OH along with two daughters, Debbie Chaney of NC and Sandra King of IN. She also leaves behind six sisters, Patty Hall of Pikeville, Judy Raines of Pikeville, Dena McCown of Pikeville, Margie Chaney of Pikeville, Rita Pugh of Pikeville and Sue Rogers of NC and two brothers Howard Raines of Pikeville and and Jack Raines of Chicago, IL. She had eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home on Friday March 26 after 6 P.M. There will be special services Friday and Saturday at 7 P.M. Funeral services will be Sunday March 28 at 1 P.M. with Rick Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at the Dow Brooks Cemetery in Draffin, KY.
