Geneva Conway

Geneva Conway age 74 passed away Tuesday, Feb. 16th, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Geneva was born on August 7th, 1935 to her parents Josie Thacker and the late Frank Thacker. She was the wife of the late Ray Conway and a homemaker. Along with her husband and father, Geneva was preceded in death by two brothers, Hazard and Jewett, and one sister, Alene Conway. Along with her mother, Geneva is survived by three daughters, Josie Mary McCoy of Shelbiana, Debrah Lou Charles of South Webster, Ohio, Anna Ray Howell of Shelbiana, five brothers, Frank Thacker Jr., A.B. Thacker, Garfield Thacker, Donnie Thacker, Joe Thacker all of Lower Pompey, two sisters, Alice Thacker and Berna Blackburn both of Lower Pompey, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Philadelphia Old Regular Baptist Church. Special services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday 2-19-2010 at 11a.m. at the Philadelphia Old Regular Baptist Church with Allen Thacker, Toy Looney, Johnny Smith, and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Frank Thacker Family Cemetery at Lower Pompey.
