Troy Estep, age 77, of Dorton Creek Rd. passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on November 18, 1932, the son of the late Wilburn and Rosie Estep. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Orville Estep, and by a sister, Esther Estep. Troy was a retired coal miner and was a member of the Long Fork Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Adaree Estep, by one daughter, Charlotte (Randall) Mullins of Blountville, TN, by two sons, Troy (Burma) Estep Jr. and Scottie (Tabitha) Estep, both of Dorton, KY. by three brothers, Jerry Estep, Bill Estep, and Harvey Estep, by two sisters, Beulah Collier and Lucille Wright, by eight grandchildren, and by four great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Greg White and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Branham Family Cemetery at Caney. Special services will be held on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
