Magdalene West

Magdalene West age 77 passed away Thursday Feb. 18th, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Magdalene was born on Jan. 10, 1933 to her parents the late Floyd Ratliff and Flora Williamson Ratliff. She was the wife of the late Junior West, a homemaker, and a member of the Frozen Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Magdalene was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Magdalene is survived by two sons, Terry West of Raccoon, Eddie West of Raccoon, two daughters, Jennifer West of Raccoon, Geraldine Taylor of Millard, Ky., one brother, Arson Ratliff of Meta, Ky., one sister, Goldie Blackburn of Meta, Ky., and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Frozen Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. The funeral will be Sunday at 11a.m. at the Frozen Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. The burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Mausoleum.
