Hester Kilgore

Hester Beverly Kilgore, age 63 passed away Tuesday, July 6th, 2010 at the Parkview Nursing Home. Hester was born on Nov. 23rd, 1946 to her parents the late Edward Ratliff and Velva Rowe Ratliff. She was a retired school teacher for the Pike County Board of Education. Along with her parents, Hester was preceded in death by one son, Terry Kilgore. Hester is survived by one son, David Kilgore of Elkhorn City, one brother, Eddie Ratliff of Elkhorn City, four grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be Saturday, July 10th, 2010 at 1p.m. at the Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church. The burial will follow in the Buddy Ratliff Cemetery at Poor Bottom.
