Pauline Elkins

Pauline Elkins, age 75, of Pikeville, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on February 16, 1935, the daughter of the late Oscar and Lawnie Isaacs Hall. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Reatha Isaacs and Peggy Bates and by a granddaughter, Rebecca Kaye Williamson. She is survived by her husband, James Elkins, by two daughters, Alina "Tankie" Marie (Reggie) Williamson of Pikeville and Paula Kaye (James) Johnson of Evansville, Indiana, by three brothers, Oscar (Gaynell) Isaacs, Jr. of Flat Rock, Michigan, Zenith H. Isaacs of Dallas, Texas, and Tex (Stacy) Isaacs of Whitesburg, Kentucky,. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2010, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Joe Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery. Special services will be held on Sunday night at 7 p.m.
