Mary Elizabeth Reese

Mary Elizabeth Coleman Reese, 81 years old of Rocky Road passed away Thursday, May 13th at Mountain View Nursing Facility. She was born in Pike County November 28th, 1928 to the late William "Bill" and Erie Louise Coleman. Mary was a homemaker and member of the Marrowbone Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Chester Reese. Besides her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by four sisters, Mildred Trivette, Jaunita Williams, Sally Roberts, and Ruby Coleman along with five brothers, Frank, Don, Bob, Ray and Barney Coleman. She is survived by two daughters, Becky (Mike) Derry of Rockhouse and Gina (Doug) Ramey of Ashcamp and three sons, Danny Reese of Rockhouse, Teddy (Janet) Reese of Rocky Road, and Timothy Reese of Pikeville. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Crissy, Misty, Bethany, Candice, Jadon, Caleb, Ethan, Kelly, and Daniel along with three great grandchildren, Ava, Adam, and Ivey and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be after 6 P.M. on Friday, May 14th at the Marrowbone Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Sunday May 16th at the church at 11 A.M. with Roger Johnson and Danny Reese officiating. Burial will follow at the W.H. Coleman Cemetery at Wolfpit, KY.
