Mae Eddington

Mae Eddington, age 90 passed away Friday, Nov. 5th, 2010 at her home. Mae was born on March 14th, 1920 to her parents the late Eli Elkins and Causby Anderson Elkins. She was the wife of the late Virgil Eddington, a homemaker, and a member of the Old Elkhorn Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Mae was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Mae is survived by two sons, F.M. Addington of Brushy Fork, D.V. Addington of Jackson, Ohio, one daughter, Audrey Addington Anderson of Brushy Fork, one brother, Jack Elkins of Michigan, one sister, Jewell Elkins Potter of Florida, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, fourteen great-great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Special services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday Nov. 8th, 2010 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Charles Nitchie and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Addington Family Cemetery at Beefhide.
