Gary Lee Huffman

Gary Lee Huffman age 59, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 22nd, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Gary was born on March 30th, 1951 to his parents the late Charles Thomas Huffman and Melinda Flora Huffman. He was the husband of Michelle Huffman, a retired coal miner for Kentland Elkhorn Coal Company, and a member of the Masonic Lodge #375. He was also a member of the Poor Bottom Freewill Baptist Church. Gary is survived by two sons, Gary Keith Huffman, Sgt Matthew Lee Huffman U.S. Marines, two daughters, Kimberly Dawn Huffman, Amanda Nicole Huffman, two brothers, Charles Eddie (Juanita) Huffman, David Keith (Doris) Huffman, two sisters, Sharon (Larry) Thacker, Deborah (the late Johnnie Jr.) Worrix, two grandchildren, Tyler (Mary Beth) Coleman, J.T. Huffman, one great-grandchild, Keira Coleman, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Special services will be Thursday and Friday 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday 9-25-2010 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Richard Gibson, Ritchie Gibson, Tim Tackett, and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Bevins Cemetery at Lower Pompey.
